Personal Fitness Training

I'm 45 years old. I've spent the majority of my life sitting at a desk on a computer, both for work and fun. During my 20's I put on an enormous amount of weight. At 30 I reduced my calories and did an hour of cardio a day, 6 days a week for half a year and lost 100 pounds of body fat. I kept it off for my 30's. About 4 years ago I walked into Vital Strength and Fitness and became a client of Tod Zalinski, the co-owner of the gym. in that time I've gained about 30 pounds of lean muscle and am at 10% body fat and am in the best fitness of my life. In that time at the gym I decided to leave web development and become a personal trainer. In 2017 I got my person training certificate from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Vital is a unique gym in that it has a full mixed martial arts facility in it thanks to the co-owner Vinnie Lopez who has a background in mixed martial arts. In my time at the gym I've trained with Joey X and Brian X. They have sparked my love of cardio kickboxing and started my journey into the martial arts.
My goal is to help you achieve your fitness goals and get into the best shape of your life. It's the foundation of all that we are and it would be my honor to help you on that journey. It's an end of itself and also the start of an exploration of an entire word of exercise and recreation.
I still spend too much time at the computer, once a gamer always a gamer.
